Dr. Manesh Gopaldas is an Addiction Psychiatrist based in New York City, specializing in the treatment of substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders. He obtained his medical degree from the Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine at Florida International University and completed his psychiatry residency at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Dr. Gopaldas further honed his expertise during a NIDA-funded T32 Clinical Research Fellowship at Columbia University. He is deeply committed to integrating medication treatments with comprehensive psychosocial support, striving to create personalized care plans that address both substance use and underlying mental health conditions. His work extends beyond clinical care into public psychiatry and health policy, where he advocates for systemic changes to improve access and effectiveness of mental health services.
