Comprehensive Addiction Assessments
- Thorough evaluations to assess substance use patterns, mental health concerns, and readiness
for change.
- Individualized treatment planning tailored to the patient’s needs, goals, and co-occurring
conditions.
Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT)
- Prescribing and managing medications such as:
Buprenorphine/Naltrexone (Suboxone, Vivitrol) for opioid use disorder.
Naltrexone & Acamprosate for alcohol use disorder.
Varenicline & Bupropion for nicotine dependence.
- Using medications to support early abstinence, manage withdrawal symptoms, and reduce
cravings.
Relapse Prevention & Harm Reduction
- Developing personalized relapse prevention plans.
- Teaching coping strategies to manage triggers and high-risk situations.
- Offering harm reduction approaches, including overdose education and safer use strategies
when abstinence is not immediately achievable.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) for Substance Use
- Using structured CBT techniques to address thought patterns and behaviors that contribute to
substance use.
- Identifying and modifying triggers, cravings, and maladaptive coping mechanisms.
Integrated Care for Co-Occurring Disorders
- Treating substance use alongside anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, and psychotic
disorders.
- Collaborative care with therapists and psychiatrists to ensure whole-person treatment.
Family Support & Psychoeducation
- Educating families on addiction, recovery, and effective ways to support loved ones.
- Providing tools and guidance to navigate family dynamics impacted by substance use.
