Intake Appointment
The Galynker Center offers unique evaluations that are conducted by our team of specialists to establish diagnosis and determine optimal treatment plan.
What to expect from an evaluation:

Our evaluations are conducted by two Center clinicians – a psychiatrist and a psychotherapist.

We ask that all our clients bring a treatment partner of their choosing to the evaluation. The treatment partner can be a parent, sibling, spouse and/or friend who knows the client well and is able to provide an additional perspective to the evaluating team.

Prior to evaluation, patients and treatment partners are asked to fill out several questionnaires that will be assessed and scored to help guide clinical decisions.

The evaluation takes place over the course of one 2-hour appointment.
