Harrison Quaal,
MD
I am passionate about psychiatry because it allows me to walk alongside individuals and their families as they navigate their unique stories. My aim is to help you bridge the gap between your current challenges and your future goals, fostering the independence and confidence needed for a brighter outlook. I consider it a privilege to support you in the pursuit of your full potential.
Originally from Northern Michigan, I graduated at the top of my class from Michigan State University with a degree in Molecular Genetics and Genomics before earning my medical degree at Wayne State University. I completed my psychiatry residency at the Medical University of South Carolina and am currently chief fellow of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship at the Mount Sinai Hospital (graduating June 2026). My clinical interests are diverse, with a particular focus on LGBTQ+ mental health, adolescent care, reproductive psychiatry, OCD, and psychodynamic therapy.
